Samsun OLEDs on the way

samsung-oled.jpg

First of all, sorry for the absence of my blogging but now It’s time to start over again. First on the agenda is Samsung saying that their TVs and monitors will be using OLED technology from next year and as soon as 2010 there will be flexible displays. Samsung plans to manufacture 3 million panels in 2009 and double that in 2010. These might be small numbers compared to LCD production but nevertheless it’s a step in the right direction. I just love Sonys small, overly expensive OLED dislpays. I would never in a million years buy one, but the image quality of these first generation production OLED displays is a sure way of pointing out where the future is headed.

Getting A TV for my bedroom

I guess it’s time for me to get a TV in my bedroom also. I’m not really sure why but it has to be good for something, right? I feel that my Sunday mornings are way too active and could use a bit more of the lazy. Maybe it has been to long since a bought any new gadgets and I’m just starting to feel the gadget-itch.

I think a 26″ display will do fine for my bedroom but then again you can almost never go to big in terms of screen size ;). I started to check out some lcd tv reviews and have narrowed it down (I think) to Samsung and Sony. Now it’s only time to see which model to choose from. To be honest the most important thing here is the appearance of the TV rather than having the best possible picture.

What do you think of these?

By the way, I would really like to see Testfreaks launch their site soon so I can get more help!
